Happy Little Farmer is a nicely designed science app to teach young kids the life cycle of plants using three different scenarios. A few changes could be made in how things are depicted or how kids interactive with them, but the app is still recommended.

Our second Halloween app list is all about books. We have some old favorites from last year, like Vlad’s Vampire Bats, and newcomers, Frankie for Kids. Included are some classics from Oceanhouse Media, like What Was I Scared Of? by Dr. Seuss and a Halloween themed book from the Berenstain Bears.

An engaging spelling app specifically designed for customized lists only, allows for an unlimited number of lists and users. Spelling: Squeebles Words is well suited for home or school. Fantastic price considering all of the features and functionality included.
