Similar to the Toca Life apps, Pepi Super Stores allows kids to play freely within a mall-like atmosphere. Whether it’s trying on clothes, shopping for groceries, or serving Asian food, kids can have a lot of fun in the mall.

Features include:

  • Choose from multiple characters
  • Visit multiple stores
  • Enjoy free play
  • Create unique scenarios

Pepi Super Stores offers a high-quality app for kids. It’s on par with similar apps. Kids can interact with the majority of the items in a store with ease. They can also choose from a host of characters. Occasionally, the app will offer some help. For example, at the beginning a hand points to the button to pull up the list of characters. There are tons of fun sound effects and animations to help keep kids engaged. In general, everything runs smoothly. Kids will only find a few kinks as they play. For example, the clothing store doesn’t offer a lot of pants and when a character puts on the lone skirt, the character’s underwear shows through.

This app is not being rated for education.

In this app, kids get to roam freely. If they want to make burgers one minute and play the saxophone the next, they can do that. If they want to play as an alien or a unicorn, they can do that too. The mall offers four levels and eleven different areas for kids to enjoy.

The app is priced comparably to similar apps. For the price, kids get to enjoy free play in multiple environments. They also get to interact with a large number of characters.

Child Friendliness

A more apps icon on the main screen leads kids to a list of additional apps, as well as a box to subscribe to the developer’s newsletter. However, access beyond this screen is protected by a kid lock. Additionally, a rate us button occasionally pops up while kids are playing. In the protected parent area, parents can also sign up for the newsletter and view additional information about the app.
