- Smart story generator
- Content from public domain apps
- Library of created stories
- Simple interface
Neurotale offers a very simple interface. When you first open the app, you’re taken to the library. If you don’t have any stories in the library, you’re prompted to create one. The story creation screen looks like a very basic text screen. Type in your story using the keyboard. Click on the icons to generate new lines for the story. Use the settings button to determine how random the lines in your story should be.
Perhaps you’ve participated in a writing activity where students pass a story around the classroom and each writer adds a line. This app works similar to that, except a computer adds the additional lines and it only adds lines when asked to do so. Neurotale helps get students writing. By adding in lines, it can help students get past writer’s block. Also, the app may improve students’ writing by providing them with examples of quality writing.
This app is not being rated for entertainment.
Neurotale is free to download. To generate lines from stories, you must purchase the English Novels pack, also a free download. Developers may opt to add additional, paid packs in the future. Depending on the subjects of the packs, they may or may not be worth paying for. As it stands, the app cannot work without the free in-app purchase, so it adds a lot of value to the app.
No ads, rate us buttons, or other content designed to take writers out of the app appear in the app. However, you will find a free in-app purchase does not contain a parental block. Links to the developer’s website and an e-mail address also appear in the accompanying help document, but they cannot be accessed from within the app.
- NO more apps
- NO rate us
- NO 3rd party ads
- YES in-app purchase
Neurotale helps writers advance their stories by suggesting lines from public domain novels.
