Save the Park is a highly entertaining and educational gaming app that teaches children the importance of taking care of our environment and forests in a variety of ways. Not only does this app offer loads of fun facts for children to learn about various national parks, but it also includes a hands-on learning tool for children to understand the importance of caring for our parks and natural reserves. With a variety of characters, games, and fun hidden objects to find, this app does a great job of helping educating players while keeping them entertained.

Save the Park is definitely one of the higher quality apps that I have seen that effortlessly weaves in educational information in an highly engaging game for kids. With an easy to use interface, great graphics, and an engaging game for children to enjoy, this app has it all. While the app does take some coordination, once children get the hang of using the controls and moving the various players around, they are going to have a ton of fun.
The concept behind this app is to teach children the importance of saving our environments and particularly our national parks. Each volunteer has a series of challenges and tasks that players must help them with. They include helping visitors, posting important flyers, planting trees and protecting the natural habitats throughout the game. The developers have also included fun facts about various parks and reserves that children can read between game screens as they move through the app which is nice.
Save the Park is designed in such a way that children can easily learn about how to improve our environment, while at the same time giving them a fun outlet to play. The games are set up with 4 different profiles that can be unlocked by completing each previous task. Players must move through each activity by helping their volunteer achieve their given tasks such as posting flyers, cleaning up the park or helping visitors. With other fun items to find and additional environments to explore, this app offers loads of fun.
What’s better than being able to play and learn about saving the environment? Being able to do that for free. Parents will be happy to know that this app is completely free which is an absolute steal considering the value included here.
While the majority of the app is completely safe and easy to use for children of all ages, there is one area that parents will want to be aware of and that is the ‘volunteer’ button. This button is not protected and includes a link to learn more info on how you can volunteer and help in your area. Since this is a kids app it would be best for it to be a protected link so young children don’t end up in places they shouldn’t be. With that said, the rest of the app is easy to use and great for children of all ages.
