AppStore User Rating:
Buff Knight- RPG Runner is a retro-style video gaming app for children of all ages. The pixelated graphics are reminiscent of some older computer games but the app is easy to use and lots of fun. With endless playing and no distractions from in app purchase links or social media buttons, this is a great app for children and one that parents might enjoy too.
- Endless play
- 2 Playing options
- Retro graphics
- Easy to use
While many new apps use sleek and clear images, Buff Knight-RPG Runner takes a different approach with the retro-style pixelated images. The playing style is similar to older computer games with simple functioning and endless playing. The set-up is pretty straight forward with just a few buttons to use while in play and is accompanied by background music and sound effects that help to bring the app to life. While the graphics are simple and have a retro feel, they are well done and add to the old school feel of the game overall.

Buff Knight-RPG Runner offers tons of entertainment with the endless play features. There are two options of playing, either in story mode or endless play mode. Story mode allows for playing up to level 10. The object of the game is to defeat the enemies (bats, bears, wolves, etc.) and to collect coins, keys, artifacts, and diamonds that will help the knight advance to eventually save the princess.
While it might sound complicated, the game is really easy to follow. The knight moves on his own, however the player decides how fast by adjusting the speed option. There are special potions that help provide more life to the knight in play as well as what is called mana attacks that are lightning bolts that help you fight your enemies. With upgrade options for more power, better protection, and more advanced weapons, this app provides tons of fun for hours. It might even be an app that parents want to get in on.
Priced at just under two dollars this app is a steal! With endless playing fighting various enemies and upgrading weapons, buying potions and protective gear, this app is sure to be a family favorite for a long time.
What I love about this app (aside from the retro game feel) is that it is completely safe for children to play. There are no in app purchases, advertisements, or social media links to be concerned with. The game itself is also very easy to move through and while the concept might be different for younger children, after a few plays they will get the hang of it no problem. Buff Knight-RPG Runner is a great app for children (and adults) of all ages.
