For children and families who love a good challenge this is a great app to play. The single player mode allows users to see how many unique monster variation (selected at random) they can collect in 60 seconds. The multi-player mode allows up to 4 players to compete to see who can collect 3 pre-selected monsters. And while the concept may seem easy to do, it can be quite a challenge when you have many tiny monsters moving across the screen that look very similar to the one you are looking for.
Another fun feature is the Tinycyclopedia that includes a variety of monster characters such as Paco Pumpkin and Wally Werewolf. This is one app that is fun for the entire family.
Priced at just under two dollars this app is a pretty fair deal. With two activities to play and a variety of monsters to view in the Tinycyclopedia, children are sure to enjoy this Halloween themed app.
TinyMons Halloween Season is safe and easy to play and is great for children of all ages. For younger users who may need a little guidance getting started, there is a brief video before each activity to show players what to do. The downside is that once you have viewed he video, there is not an option to view it again if you need to.
One other thing parents may want to be aware of is the fact that there is a “gamecenter” button on the main page. This page allows children to see a list of other players and their rankings as well as view any challenges that may have come from other friends. While there are no direct links to invite friends etc., this is an area children may view to see how they rank in comparison to other players.
