Overview
Lately Lily is a terrific iPad app that includes four entertaining activities, one of which will teach your child some very common words in French. Its unique illustrations make it standout from other apps on the market.
Features include:
- Four fun activities
- Unique illustrations
- Introduction to the French language
Quality
Lately Lily’s intuitive interface makes this app easy to use for a wide range of users. Preschoolers may require assistance with a couple of the activities in the beginning, but will quickly pick up on what is expected.
The unique illustrations created using bright bold colors mesmerized me from the beginning. The cheery music, which fits with the illustrations perfectly, may have had something to do with it, too.
Education
While this app is not categorized as educational, it does have some educational value; such as teaching young children common French words in a way that kids will learn without realizing they are doing so and are more likely to remember the words.
Entertainment
The four short activities are highly interactive and will keep the users attention. They can be replayed multiple times with some variety. Additional activities or a larger variation in content would extend the life of the app on a family’s iPad.
Boys and girls will both find the app enjoyable. Lily, Zeborah and Audrey are adorable and make the user feel welcome to join them.
Value
Even though Lately Lily is an iPad only app and could use additional activities, the high quality level of the app makes it reasonably priced.
Child Friendliness
With no social media or external links and no ads, Lately Lily is an ideal child friendly app.
Pack your suitcase, hop on a plane and learn some French, Lately Lily: Paris for a Day is an outstanding way to do all of those things and more and the app is much more reasonably priced than a plane ticket.
