Kids Mosaic HD could be described as a digital version of the magnet board my kids play with. It can be used to complete pre-defined mosaic designs or create your own. Whether using the app for educational reasons or pure entertainment, you are likely to become immediately engrossed.
This app is one that you can jump right into, no need for in-app help or instructions; the interface will be intuitive for most kids. Forty mosaic puzzles are available in the Adventure mode, each getting progressively more difficult. Choose any mosaic to complete; the easy ones do not need to be completed prior to moving on. Want something that allows you to use your imagination, then the Free mode is for you. Free mode is an area that allows you to start from scratch. After your masterpiece has been completed save a picture of it to the Photos library on your device by clicking the camera button.
Brightly colored tiles in nine different shapes, such as squares, triangles and quadrants, are used in the mosaics. Twelve color choices and an eraser are available. Need a little assistance while working the puzzles in the Adventure mode, a tips button is available to show the outline of the design or you can zoom in on the original of the mosaic.
Kids Mosaic is a universal app, it functions basically the same on either device; however, I found that only 16 puzzles were available when using it on my iPod.
This app does not contain in-app purchases, ads or social media buttons. It does, on the iPad, contain an external links to more apps. You may want to caution the kids being the button is located on the main page.
I fell in love with this app for many reasons, one big reason, and it’s a selfish one, is no more of those little magnet pieces left laying around!
“Kids mosaic HD”, an interactive educating game will help your children to train their memory, learn to distinguish colors, develop imagination and hands motor functions.
