This ebook is one of the most delightful books for young kids available on the iPhone / iPad / iPod as an app. One Rainy Day is a cute little story about a duck who loves the rain. The book is simple and gentle – and I would recommend it for babies old enough to engage in any book – digital or not.

Drawing Pad is by far one of the best drawing apps for kids. It’s simple to use, but not too childish in the design. As a designer, I just love the layout of the app – and if it had a bit more functionality (brush size, color picker, layers etc) would use it myself.
