Welcome to another Free App Friday! This week we’ve found some great free apps to quench your child’s desire for screen time, while providing a learning environment at the same time. Today’s apps will reinforce letters and numbers as well as take them on adventures to the arctic and in the ocean. Let’s dive in.
Happy Valley Friends is a preschool app that reinforces the learning for letters, numbers, and shapes. This app has 18 different games and 6 unique mini games. Fun characters and animations will keep your preschooler entertained while they learn foundational math and reading concepts.
Let your kids go on an arctic adventure with MarcoPolo Arctic. They will have the chance to feed the animals, play with the seals, throw snowballs, and much more. With over 30 animals, 100 different elements to interact with, 3 environments and 4 puzzles, your kids will have an endless supply of fun.
Go on an underwater with Tiggly to discover letters and new words. While they explore the ocean floor, they will learn short vowel sounds plus simple words. The characters and colorful animations are a great way to learn letters while playing. Fun surprises are waiting to be discovered.
Piggly Story Maker helps your kid learn words in a fun and interactive way. They will be given two consonants and will flip through vowels to find the right one to make the word. Interactions with the words will appear, keeping them engaged while they play. They can also record a video up to two minutes long.
In Highlights Monster Day, your child will help a monster by getting them dressed, helping them eat, playing with them, plus more daily activities. This app will teach them about kindness and compassion, as well as independence in daily activities.
