Review Summary:

Ready Jet Go! quickly became a cartoon favorite at our house and now my kids can take their love of the show one step further with an all new space exploration game. Join Jet and his friends as they introduce your children to the constellations and planets in the night sky. They will learn interesting facts about each celestial body and even play hide and seek in outer space!

This app is fairly easy to use but, with no clear instructions given, it takes a little trial and error to figure it out. To begin learning, tap Face 9000 and choose to study either constellations or planets. Once you have selected one, use the lever on the left to blast off to that constellation or planet. Once you arrive, you will learn interesting facts about it including things like distance from the sun, how many moons it has, the origin of its name, and more. Constellations can be colored in as well with a palate of colors to choose from. Once you have learned the facts, test your knowledge by playing hide and seek with Jet in outer space. He will give you clues to guide you to his location that correlate with the information you learned previously. Each time you locate him, you will earn a badge as a reward!

If your kids are fans of the Ready Jet Go! cartoon then they will surely love this app. Jet makes learning about space a grand adventure that cleverly disguises the learning that is going on. The only real downfall to this app is that there really isn’t any clear instruction to teach children how to play this app and so the only way to figure it out is through trial and error. Some of my kids got frustrated by it and didn’t care to continue playing. However, once I sat down with them and provided some guidance they had a lot of fun with this app. Just be aware that some instruction on your part might be necessary to get your children going in this app. This app is free with no in-app purchases or advertisements which I love. This app is definitely worth checking out. It’s a free download so you have nothing to lose and a great deal of astronomical knowledge to gain!
