New & Noteworthy – March 23, 2016: Let’s Learn Together


Welcome to another New & Noteworthy, where we bring you all the cool new apps available for your kids. This week we’ve found some great new apps that have some great animations, and some favorite characters.  Paw Patrol fans will be pleased with a pre-k app that teaches math skills. Toca Dance will give your kids control to make their own dance party and Stack the States 2 will engage your child in U.S. geography. The Grow Parenting App will give you daily tips on activities and tips for your child. Let’s take a look!

Paw Patrol Pups Take Flight HD

Preschoolers will love learning pre-k skills with their favorite characters in this app. Easy kid controls allow your child to begin playing right away. They will dodge obstacles and collect pup treats as they explore 30 different levels. They will be introduced to shape recognition, number recognition, and counting.

Stack the States 2

Are you looking for a fun way for your kids to learn U.S. geography? Stack the States 2 is exactly what you are looking for. Stack the States 2 comes with new questions, new bonus games, and 3D graphics along with 3D models of over 90 landmarks. Toca Dance

Toca Dance gives your child complete control as they make their own music video. They have the ability to choose the characters and their costumes. They will be able to pick fun dance moves for their characters and the music they dance to. Roses and tomatoes can be thrown at the performance and they can add special effects to the performance like pyrotechnics. Recording and saving the video will allow them to share with family and friends.

Grow Parenting App

The Grow Parenting App from Fisher-Price allows you to input your childs information to receive updates about how your child develops at each stage. These also give you lots of tips and activities for your child based on their age. You can even upload pictures of your child and share them on your favorite social media sites. You can record when they reach milestones and achievements giving you a way to record and remember those little moments in life.
