Managing the daily needs of my family of six can be quite challenging at times. Throw in a night out, or a weekend away, and the chaos rises to a whole new level. There are packing lists to create, medications to remember, emergency contacts to provide, schedules to maintain and so much more. It can seem very daunting and overwhelming to say the least! May I introduce you to an app that will consolidate all of those balls you are trying to juggle into one, easy to use, app called Little Peanut on the Go.
Little Peanut on the Go was designed to give busy parents a tool that they can use to manage their children’s care even while they are away from home. It only takes minutes to set up and will save you hours of stress and worry when you are planning to be away from your children, whether it is for an hour or a week! You need create your family’s profile by entering the parent’s names and contact information. You will also enter the children’s names and ages as well as any allergies they might have, medical and insurance information, and any special notes specific to each child. There is also a place to add emergency contact information, doctor and dentist information, and other caregivers. Here you can also set up a daily care schedule for each child that could include meal times, nap times, bedtimes, carpools, activities, etc. Next, select the type of event you wish to plan: A sitter at your home, an overnighter away from home with your children, an outing away from home where you will still be with your children, or an overnighter where you and your children will be away from home. Now you will create your plan. Here you will select the family members who will be part of the activity, the dates you will be doing the activity, packing lists, to-do lists, and care schedules. There is also a spot where you can post messages throughout the event such as messages to your children or the caregiver or pictures. Finally, you can save and share your plan with your child’s caregiver by inviting them to download Little Peanut on the Go. Once they do that, and accept your invitation, they will have access to all of the information they need to provide quality childcare for your children. And you can have the peace of mind knowing that you did not forget anything!
This app is answer to every parent’s prayers. I wish I would have had an app like this when my children were younger, however, even though they are old enough now to communicate their needs and pack for themselves, etc., I still plan to use this app to keep track of things on my end and bring some organization to my life. From a different perspective, as a mother of a teenage daughter who babysits for other families frequently, I love the service this app provides for caregivers! When my daughter gets a babysitting job, all of the information she needs about the children she is caring for can be shared with a touch of a button. There is no need for her to try to remember schedules or search for post-it notes with important information or emergency contacts. She has it right on her phone, easy to access, in one convenient location. Little Peanut on the Go is a MUST-HAVE app for every family with young children and for anyone who provides childcare for other families. Trust me, it will make your life much less stressful and your outings much more enjoyable!
