Free App Friday – September 9, 2016 – Adventure Awaits

Welcome to another Free App Friday! This week we’ve found some great free apps that will quench your child’s desire to explore the world. MarcoPolo Arctic, Ocean Forests, and Dentist Bird each take your child to a different part of the globe. They will learn about the animals and environments in each, while they play games and interact. Moose Math and Happy Valley Friends will keep your littles ones from being left out as the practice their math skills.

Moose Math

Moose Math takes your child on an adventure as they help the Dust Funnies around town. From making smoothies while learning addition and subtraction to sorting pets by matching numbers, math skills will be sharpened as they play along. With a number of activities that are common core aligned, math has never been more fun.

MarcoPolo Arctic

Sail off on an adventure to the arctic. MarcoPolo Arctic will take your kids on an arctic journey to learn all about the animals that live in the arctic as well as their environment. Interactive puzzles, feeding animals, and juggling with polar bears are just some of the activities that will keep them entertained as they practice STEM principles.

Happy Valley Friends: Letters, Numbers, Shapes

Introduce your child to letters, shapes, and numbers with this preschool app. They will learn shapes, numbers, upper and lowercase letters, time, and more. 18 mini games will give them plenty of opportunity to practice these new skills while fun animations keep them engaged.

Ocean Forests

Take your kids on an under-sea adventure. Ocean Forests takes your child into the water where they will get to swim with sharks, fish, and other under-sea creatures. Geared to 5-8 year olds, Ocean Forests will allow your child to explore underwater and expand their knowledge of ocean life.

Dentist Bird: A West African Folktale

Journey to Africa with this storytelling app. Your child will play along in this interactive story as a bird tries to cure a crocodile with a toothache. This app will allow them to learn about Liberia’s rainforest while they interact with the story and play games.
