With narration and an auto play option, this app is is one that children of all ages can enjoy whether they are reading yet or not. The illustrations and sound effects used within the story are also professional and very well done adding a bit more interest to this cute story. Overall this app is very well done.

The illustrations are also interactive and allow readers to learn new words as they tap and touch various images. Another great feature is the voice record option that can provide children with an additional opportunity to practice reading aloud.
While there aren’t any additional games or activities outside the story, there is an in-story game that allows children to search through the illustrations to find the spider and the mouse located on each page. Once they reach the end of the story, readers can see how many they found. Children will no doubt enjoy the story and the search and find game within, but adding an additional activity outside of the story would add to the overall entertainment value.
Priced at just under two dollars this app is priced really well. With narration options, text highlighting and an in story game to keep children engaged, parents can certainly appreciate the overall value of this app.

While the app is safe to use, there is a ‘rate this app’ pop up at the end of the story that really should be located in the parents area, even though it’s protected.
