Build your child’s basic math skills with a fun bingo game. Squeebles Maths Bingo helps kids practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills. As they correctly solve problems, they earn ice cream toppings and lure back customers who have been scared away by the Math Monster. Every bingo received also earns players two ice cream cones to use to make their own unique ice cream creations to serve to the customers they’re trying to win back. Those customers rate their cones, so kids will have to continually solve problems so they can earn more cones and figure out the trick to making an ice cream cone that earns a perfect 10.
- Three levels of difficulty
- Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Fun ice cream game
- Milestone rewards
Along with silly, colorful characters found in other Squeebles apps, this fun bingo game entices kids with fun sound effects and an easy-to-navigate design. A “How to Play” screen clearly explains how to play the game, although it’s simple enough that most kids will figure out how to play simply by reading the clearly labeled icons. Parents will also quickly figure out how to add players, look at kids’ stats, and find the support they need.
Kids can choose to practice solving addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problems. A fifth option, the ?, allows them to solve problems that combine all four basic skills. For each of the five options, kids can also choose from three different levels of play. At the easy level, a sample problem may involve adding single digit numbers, while the medium level introduces double digit numbers, and the hard level introduces triple digit numbers. At every level, kids see the standard board filled with possible solutions. As they correctly check off those solutions while solving problems, they get one step closer to calling out “BINGO!”
While getting bingo is the ultimate goal, the game provides kids with regular encouragement and rewards as they play. Correctly solving problems earns kids new ice cream and toppings flavors, as well as brings new customers back to the ice cream shop. Those rewards can then be used to play the ice cream game, making concoctions for the new customers in the hopes of winning back their business.
With five different problem-types and three different levels, the game ends up offering 15 different levels of play. It allows parents and teachers to set up multiple players too, so kids can play at their own level and collect their own rewards.
Kids have access to the support screen and information on other apps, but all e-mail address and links are written out so that they cannot click on them. Beyond that, parents can set up individual profiles for different players, helping to customize the game to fit each kid and making it that much more entertaining.
Kids build math skills by solving problems in an attempt to lure back customers the Math Monster has lured away in this entertaining bingo game which also offers them the chance to make and serve ice cream.
