AppStore User Rating:
I Love You Too is another awesome app by Oceanhouse Media that has some great whimsical illustrations, a cute story that is narrated by Ziggy Marley himself. This story has all the bells and whistles you would expect from Oceanhouse, but also includes a sing along tune that the story’s words are pulled from by Ziggy Marley. This is one app that is not to be missed!
- Whimsical illustrations
- Narration options
- Sing along with Ziggy Marley
- Record your voice
Upon opening this app the first thing to catch your eye are the bright, whimsical illustrations that help to tell a story. The interactive images allow children to tap them to see and hear the word as they read through the story. The developers have also included narration options, text highlighting, and a voice record option that allows parents and children to record their own voices. The added sing along video that is added in the app is also a nice touch for children to enjoy.
I Love You Too offers children the ability to follow along as the narrator reads through the story with the text highlighting. The illustrations also allow children to tap and touch them and have the word appear. This feature is great for children just learning to read because they can see each word as they hear it and associate it with the illustration. The voice record option is also great because it provides great practice for children who may have trouble reading out loud.
I absolutely love the concept behind this story and the fact that the words come straight from a song by Ziggy Marley. Not only that but he is the narrator as well. Children are going to love the repetition in the story as well as the lovely pictures that go along with it. For children who love music, there is a sing along activity that children and parents can sing together.
Priced at just under four dollars, this app is in line with many of the other digital storybook apps out there and is priced well. With the wonderful illustrations, voice record options, the unique sing along, and narration by Ziggy Marley you are getting a lot for the price.
The developers have done a nice job ensuring that this app is easy to use for kids. With the text highlighting, narration options, and the intuitive interface, children will not need a lot of instruction to get started. Parents will also be happy to know that all access and options to view other apps or access additional information about the developer are all protected so children won’t end up in an area they shouldn’t be in.
