Morning Routine Review

Do you ever have trouble getting everyone out of bed in the morning and on their way to school?  The Morning Routine app was designed to help busy moms, by helping them get the family ready in the mornings.  This app encourages habit-building and is designed for preschool and elementary school children.  I thought this app was a smart way to help parents take charge and keep things moving in the mornings.

The app features a story-telling checklist that will help children establish good habits and a great routine for the morning.  By using this app, the goal is to teach kids self-responsibility.  The app will also help parents to be organized as well and implement a positive, healthy morning routine for their family.

Parents are able to have their children choose from 3 illustrated morning routine stories.  Once the story has been chosen, parents are able to drag and drop picture-tasks into the desired sequential order.  The tasks include  activities such as – breakfast, brush teeth, gather backpack, make bed…and so on.  Then, you may press the “Good Morning” button to start the recurring task sequence each day.  While getting ready in the morning, children are able to follow along with cartoon visual prompts, and you can even record fun reminders in your own voice for them.  There is a cute musical timer that accompanies the tasks to help kids stay focused and aware of their time.  Kids will be able to earn stars on their calendar for completing their routine everyday!

I thought that the Morning Routine app was a great concept.  I think that this app could definitely help out with the morning rush and help families get out the door on time.  If you think that this app could benefit you and help your kids develop good habits for a morning routine – I highly recommend checking it out!
