As the Christmas season progresses, so the excitement builds toward the big day – and while all kinds of Advent calendars have traditionally added to that excitement, this one delivers more – each day children have a new surprise to look forward to! And for Star Wars fans, this set just cannot be beat during the holidays – plus in itself, it is a great set with collectible figures and more.
Pie Face Showdown arrives in second place among the ten best toys for six year old boys 2017 and into 2017.
The huge hit game has now come out with a new version – how funny to picture kids or a couple of family members sitting together and working to hit someone else in the face with whipped cream – or something else soft and mushy. Funny stuff!
Worn on the wrist, this nifty gadget helps along with the Pokémon battles in the latest video games. Each crystal for the Z-Ring represents a different element – when inserted into the ring it allows players to experience the moves in real life. The perfect gift for Pokémon fans.
A pretty incredible addition to the 2017 top toys for boys age 6 lineup – Cozmo from Anki.
I didn’t really “get” this little guy until I looked into the matter a bit further. Amazingly cute, he is one of the more advanced technology robots available today – incredible. True AI is what this robot is all about, complete with his own personality and the more he hangs around, the more he learns. But – he is never short on surprises.
When I first saw this new Lite Brite I was tickled to see that it is back in action as one of the more popular toys around – but then found out some differences that I believe make it waaaay better and more fun. The “magic” aspect of the screen is based on the fact that when a peg is removed from the spot, light gets blocked out – making a better way to change the light creation rather than leaving “light holes” in the screen. Yay!
For kids, which is better? A pirate ship or a shark? For adventure-seekers it could be one or both – and both are what this toy is about. Fisher-Price Imaginext has done it again with its power pads that add much to the action and excitement of their toys – turn the pads to see what happens, and let the pirate adventures unfold!
The Scientific Explorer company has absolutely become one of my all-time favorites. They have this down to a “science” (so to speak): How can kids find out that science is actually quite exciting and fun? By showing it fB01C6E53RWor what it is – a way to learn about how fascinating the world around us really is. This particular set shows kids all about how things glow, and how to light up a dark room.
Haha! OK, how to go “grossery” shopping? Use this fun and funky “vending machine” to choose various – uh – food products for the (pretend) eating. While I haven’t quite nailed down the concept of this toy at this point, I do know this – it is the perfect addition to the “toy wardrobe” for any kiddo who giggles about stuff that some people probably consider kind of gross.
Obviously coming with the hoop, backboard and the ball – this set also includes a handy net so you don’t have to go digging around and chasing the ball after every shot. :)Next up – POOF Cage Court Hoops.
What’s different about this indoor game of hoops? It has the same “jingle and whoosh” sound that the urban outdoor cage hoops have – making playing in-the-bedroom hoops just that much more fun.
From this past summer’s hit movie comes Max – and how! This little guy (actually the size of a real small dog) has different actions based on whether he is on-or-off-leash. A great “pet” for kiddos, and loaded to the “Max” with personality (haha – sorry). 🙂
